[ The transmission clicks on. In the background, there's random shuffling noises, followed every so often by little mutters of "oh, for the love of--" and "whoops." Lu's voice comes in after a couple minutes of random background sounds. ]

Well.

Either I've been scientistnapped and taken to Shiva knows where, or I'm dreaming. And that seems like the more logical explanation, as I'm not entirely certain who it'd be that'd have enough gall to break a sleeping lady out of her --

[ A pause. ]

[ Another pause. ]

Was that a chocobo? ... With fangs?

... And webbed feet?

...

...

... Ah, no. My mistake. That would be a rather disturbing looking tree branch. Silly me!

[ She gives one of those "lol this is awkward" coughs. ]

Still. This is a very strange dream. Much stranger than my other ones, even, and my other ones have always been extremely odd.

Then again, everything about this situation is odd.

I think. Or maybe not. I'm not sure. Ah, my head hurts.
